The PIERRE Pro RGB Controller drives RGB LED strip from the PIERRE system. It uses the WS2811 one-wire protocol, so colour data travels to the strip on a single DIN line alongside the supply driving three colour channels.
It runs from 12 V DC. The connection from the PIERRE controller should be made in shielded SFTP cable — a one-wire data line is timing-sensitive and picks up interference over a long run, which shows as colour flicker.
Where the run is long or the strip is bright, add an RGB amplifier to restore signal and supply along the length.
The housing is metal. Protection covers over-voltage, short circuit and thermal.
