The PIERRE Wave Motion Sensor detects movement by passive infrared and reports it to the PIERRE system, where it can trigger lighting scenes, alarm states or notifications.

It gives a 90° detection angle with a radius of 8 m and is designed for wall mounting at approximately 2.2 m — the height at which the lens pattern covers a room without looking over the top of movement close to the wall.

It runs from a CR123A cell and reports low battery. The housing is rated IP20 and operates from -10 °C to +55 °C.

It communicates over PIERRE Wave (Zigbee 3.0, 2.4 GHz). Protection covers thermal, tamper, anti-flammable housing and surge.
