The PIERRE Pro Flood Sensor is placed where water will collect first — beside a washing machine, under a hot water cylinder, at the low point of a plant room floor — and switches when the probe bridges.

The output is NPN normally-open, wired to a PIERRE controller input or an alarm panel zone, so a leak raises an event the system can act on: closing a valve, sounding the indoor siren, or notifying.

It runs from 5-24 V DC at up to 0.15 A and 0.5 W, so it can share the supply of the controller it reports to. The housing is ABS rated IP67 — the sensor itself can sit in the water it is detecting — and operates from -20 °C to +80 °C.
